Terms and Conditions
for hiring of Nursing Assistance

With reference to your request for a female nursing asst. at your home to attend and take care of your aged / sick relation, babies. SHUSRUSA will provide a nursing asst. on the following terms and conditions.

• Duty Chart:
  Each nurse is provided with a note book where the duty hour is to be recorded. For day care/night care nurse both the time of arrival and departure are to be noted and signed every day. For full time nurses the duty book is to be signed every day. Whenever a nurse goes for payment or for personal work, the time of arrival and departure should be recorded. As you are responsible for the safety during duty hours this should be mentioned properly.
• Payment Rule:
  The payment should be made latest by 2nd week of every month. If no payment is made for two consecutive months, the nurse will be withdrawn immediately. Kindly send cash, bank transfer or account payee cheque through the nurse or deposit personally in the office before the payment day.
• Home Visit:
  Placement officers will visit the home before the placement of nursing assistant. Any complain of nursing assistant or service receiver will be enquired and required counseling will be provided. After placement, home visits are not mandatory. Sometime placement officer can conduct surprise checks.
• Baby Care:
  Nursing assistant is provided for prenatal, postnatal and infant care. No baby care will be provided after the baby completes four year. In case of twins the nurse can take care of one baby only.
• Release of Nurse:
  The service receiver should release the nurse after the agreed period. In case service is to be extended, it should be informed to the office . Normally the nursing asst. is changed every three months. However the placement committee may decide to extend it for longer period if necessary. No demand should be made in this regard. Where the nurse is not released after the patient is all right and kept for domestic help, the nurse will be withdrawn immediately. In case of death, the nurse should be released on same day or the next day and it should be reported to the office immediately.
• Change of Address:
  In case of change of address/telephone number the same should be intimated immediately. If the patient is admitted in hospital or nursing home and the nurse is to go there, her safety should be taken care of and the office should be kept informed.
• Hospitalization:
  In case the patient is hospitalized the service receiver should be informed to office and the nursing assistant cannot attend the patient at night in hospital alone.
• Registration:
  Registration fees Rs.1000 (Non refundable) to be paid at the time of Registration and charges Rs. 1000.00 (Rupees one thousand only) to be paid at the time of placement and annual registration charges Rs. 1000.00 (Rupees one thousand only) paid after every three months.
• Registration fees Rs.1000 (Non refundable) to be paid at the time of registration.

• A refundable security deposit of Rs 10000 will be paid at the time of registration. This amount will be refunded when you release the nurse. This will be effective from 1st December 2025.
